Young at Heart, Compete in Badminton – Seaforest’s 2024 Badminton Competition concluded successfully

On August 16th, the “Young at Heart, Compete in Badminton” match came to a successful conclusion, a badminton feast filled with enthusiasm and sweat. Eight teams with a total of over 160 players participated. With arms curved like a bow, players struck shuttlecocks with impressive force. In this friendly match, they showed their enthusiasm through skills and sweat, creating unforgettable memories of courage, challenge, and friendship together.

At 9 AM, the host announced, “The competition begins”, which ignited the passion and anticipation of all participants. The match is structured in a group elimination format, divided into two major regions, with players fiercely competing on 30 courts. On the field, male players swung their rackets with tremendous force and smashed the shuttlecock as if it were a sword unsheathed, which demonstrated the perfect combination of strength and speed. Meanwhile, female players used delicate drop shots to send the shuttlecock soaring, which showcased their fierce competitive spirit.

At the final stage, the match became white-hot, and teams began to go all out. With the sound of the whistle, thrilling clashes were on the verge of unfolding. The players were determined and agile, stepping forward, swinging their rackets, occasionally making light net touches, powerful smashes, sideline drop shots, and miraculous saves. Their exceptional skills in blocking, smashing, and precise shots embodied their relentless fighting spirit and determination to move forward.

The audience’s emotions also shifted in sync with the game. As the match entered a deadlock, the crowd held its breath in anticipation. When a fantastic smash or incredible save occurred, cheers of “Good shot!” echoed throughout the venue. When an almost certain victory was overturned, the audience sighed together. When the victorious team cheered, the crowd applauded and shouted along with them. The players displayed unyielding determination and presented a feast to the audience.

After the match, Chairman Sun Luzheng presented awards to the winning teams. This was not only a recognition of the outstanding achievements of the participants but also a source of encouragement and motivation for everyone involved. Meanwhile, the overseas factories in Indonesia and Bangladesh also organized badminton and table tennis events, echoing the event held at Seaforest’s headquarters. The cross-regional linkage not only strengthened the friendship and communication between employees but also showcased the powerful cohesion and centripetal force of Seaforest Group.
